I am praying that your days at home are going well and that your family has settled into a good schooling routine. I am continuing to enjoy getting to know your little ones! As you get into your reading lessons, keep in mind that every child progresses at a different rate. Please let me know if you need any support or have any questions!
Important Dates:
9/14 - Dodgeball Tournament: Glad Tidings Church, Liberty Hill
9/26 - Spirit/DOGS/Pizza Day
10/10 - Spirit Day (no pizza)
10/31 - Historical Dress Up Day (details coming soon)
***On Thursday, kindergarten will be finishing up our unit on the fruits of the spirit. Each day we have talked about a Fruit of the Spirit and have related it to an actual fruit. Our celebration will be during our snack time. Please see the Sign Up Genius link below to sign up to bring one of the fruits (these can be dropped off at the front desk or your child can bring them to the classroom) or to volunteer to help serve. We will only need enough of each fruit so that each of our 13 students can get a small portion. (2 pieces for each child is plenty) Thank you so much for helping us celebrate all that we have learned so far!
